Faerie Tie-Dye Cape

This hand tie-dyed faerie cape has fuchsia, forest green, turquoise and yellow dyes that have all been set using the microwave. The fabric is an unknown natural material and we know this because we don't know how to dye synthetic fabric. The hood is lined with yellow vintage taffeta. A silver grape vine and twig clasp close the cape and the hood is accented with a hand beaded tassel of small mercury glass beads salvaged from a wired lamp shade as well as larger emerald green glass beads. Adjustable ribbon gathers the neck and hood framing the face. One size fits most.
